Imperial Flat, North Berwick - Conditions of Booking

We accept provisional bookings on the basis that 25% deposit is received within 7 days.  If no deposit is received the booking may be cancelled and the property will continue to be marketed for letting.

Patrons agree to the following conditions:

1. To pay a non-refundable 25% deposit within 7 days to confirm the booking, and to pay the full balance due not less than six weeks before the start of the booked period. If a booking is made less than six weeks before the start of the holiday, the full amount is due immediately to confirm the booking.

2. If you have any reason to cancel your booking, you will forfeit a proportion of your payment unless a fresh booking completely replaces it.  If no replacement booking is received, cancellation up to 21 days prior to entry forfeits 75% of all monies paid.  No refund is due if you cancel within 21 days of your arrival.

3. To limit the total number of people occupying the booked property to that as stated as its maximum capacity (6 plus an infant).

4. To vacate the property by no later than 10.00 am on the final day of let.  This allows time to prepare for incoming guests arriving from 4.00 pm.

5. To leave the property reasonably clean and tidy, complete with its full inventory, and to reimburse the owners for any breakages, loss or damage.

6. That no pets are permitted in the property.

7. That no smoking is permitted in the property.

8. To use the property solely for its purpose as self-catering holiday accommodation and to accept the owner's right to refuse entry to the property anyone considered unsuitable to take charge.

9. That the owners cannot be held responsible or liable for any accident or loss to persons or property using the flat, or from any injury or illness arising from any cause whatsoever.

10. To accept that should the property become unavailable or unsuitable for letting subsequent to booking through any cause, the owner's liability shall be limited to the amount of any rent paid.

11. To allow the owners or their agents access to the property at all reasonable times.
